Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs cooked chicken meat (shredded or cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 1 lb pasta
- 1 (16 oz) jar Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet ranch dressing seasoning
- 1/3 cup bacon bits (or 5 strips cooked and chopped)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided in half)
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Mix the Sauce Base
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese (reserve 1 cup), bacon (reserve some for topping), and sour cream.
Stir until everything is well blended.
Add Chicken and Pasta
Add the cooked chicken and boiled pasta to the sauce mixture in the bowl.
Toss everything together until the pasta and chicken are well coated.
Assemble the Casserole
Lightly grease a 9″ x 13″ baking dish.
Pour the chicken and pasta mixture into the prepared dish.
Top it with the remaining cheddar cheese and reserved bacon bits.
Bake and Serve
Bake uncovered at 350°F for about 30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the cheese on top is golden.
Garnish with chopped parsley if you like. Serve warm.
