Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Cook the shell pasta according to the package instructions.
Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
Drain any excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning and ¾ cup of water.
Simmer until the liquid reduces and beef is well coated.
Add cooked pasta, salsa, and shredded cheese to skillet.
Stir until cheese melts and pasta is fully coated.
Serve hot.
